Katrina Kaif was born Katrina Turquotte ^[1]Madame Tussauds on Saturday, 16 July 1983 (age 41 years; as of 2024) in Hong Kong. Her zodiac sign is Cancer. She grew up in London, United Kingdom. When she was young, she travelled a lot with her family. They lived in various countries including China, Japan, France, Switzerland, Poland, Belgium, and other European countries after she was born in Hong Kong.

Later, they moved to Hawaii. At 14, they settled in her mother’s home country, England, for more than three years.

Her mother’s philanthropic duties led her to distant locations, and the children, including Katrina, accompanied her, primarily receiving homeschooling from various tutors. Thereafter, Katrina pursued some correspondence courses.

Modelling

At the age of 14, Katrina Kaif won a beauty contest which was held in Hawaii. She then received her first modelling assignment for a jewellery commercial. Thereafter, she began modelling professionally in London, working with some freelance agencies and frequently appearing at the London Fashion Week. Meanwhile, she also visited India for modelling projects.

While working in the film Boom in 2003, Katrina Kaif walked the ramp for the fashion designer Rohit Bal at the India Fashion Week and was featured in the Kingfisher Calendar.
