Since childhood, she was passionate about dancing and singing. She actively took part in extracurricular activities during her school and college days. Television

Nyra Banerjee entered the entertainment industry with G. V. Iyer’s Hindi TV show Kadambari, a government project that released 36 episodes. She even acted in a TV serial by K. Balachander. By the time she was in 12th grade, Nyra took up part-time work as a TV anchor. In 2019, she played the lead role of Divya in the supernatural drama TV series Divya Drishti on Star Plus.

In 2020, she starred in the comedy TV series Excuse Me Maadam as Mithu aka “Maadam,” Sanam’s boss on Star Bharat.
