She works predominantly in the South Indian film industry and is well known for her acting in films such as Green Signal (2014), Current Theega (2014), and Aakramana, 2014, which was her debut in the world of Sandalwood. Further, the International Human Rights Council (IHRC) appointed Shilpi Sharma as the youth ambassador for peace and humanity from India in 2016.

Modelling
Shilpi Sharma’s career began in 2006 when she modelled in the ‘Miss Delhi Teen Queen’ beauty contest. In 2010, she participated in another competition named ‘Citadel Miss Pune’. In 2012, she participated in the prestigious ‘Femina Miss India’ and went on to win the titles Miss Beautiful Smile and Miss Body Beautiful. This led to a successful career in modelling for print advertisements. She has also walked the ramp on several occasions such as the Jaipur International Fashion Week.
