Mishti Chakraborty

Mishti Chakraborty is an Indian actress who is known for her work mainly in South Indian films. She is also known for her work in some Hindi films. Mishti has appeared in the films like ‘Kaanchi: The Unbreakable’ (2014), ‘Chinnadana Nee Kosam’ (2014), ‘Adam Joan’ (2017), and ‘Brihaspathi’ (2018). She was also the face behind the popular Vicco Turmeric Ayurvedic skin cream commercial.


Mishti Chakraborty was born as Indrani Chakraborty on Monday, 20 December 1987 (age 36 years; as of 2023) in Gadiya, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Her zodiac sign is Sagittarius. She is an English Literature graduate from the University of Calcutta. Having no family background in movies or performing arts, Mishti was the first one to enter the film industry.

After the release of ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ in 2019, Kangana Ranaut and Mishti Chakraborty got into a heated war of words over Mishti’s role in the movie. Mishti claimed that her role in the movie was shortened by Kangana, who was also the director and the lead actor in the movie. After these allegations, Kangana Ranaut was quoted saying,
