After completing her schooling, Disha went to Amity University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh to pursue a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering. Disha Patani was reportedly in a relationship with “Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan” (2014) actor Parth Samthaan around 2013. Modelling

Disha Patani started her career as a model and did various TV advertisements and modelling assignments. She entered the Pond’s Femina Miss India Indore competition in 2013 to fulfil her mother’s dream of seeing Disha wear the Miss India crown. She emerged to be the first runner-up.

She moved from Bareilly to Mumbai to pursue a career in modelling and got a job to represent a hair colour brand ten days after her move. She is represented by TOABH Talent Management. In 2014, she modelled for Kalyan Silks and in 2017, she appeared in advertisements for L’Oréal. She walked the ramp at the 2016 Amazon India Fashion Week. In 2017 she walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week for Label Ritu Kumar.

She has also appeared on the covers of magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar India, Hello! India (July 2023 issue), Cosmopolitan India (September-October 2023 issue), ELLE India (March 2024 issue) etc. Disha Patani has also walked the ramp for various established fashion designers. Disha made her Bollywood debut in 2016 by starring in “M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” with Sushant Singh Rajput. The biographical sports film was based on the life of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of the Indian Cricket Team. In the movie, she portrayed the character of Priyanka Jha, the girlfriend of M. S. Dhoni’s character.

In 2017, she featured in an Indo-Chinese film, ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ along with Jackie Chan, for which she also undertook martial arts training.

Controversy Surrounding Disha Patani’s Age

In 2012, she claimed that she was 20 years old and that her date of birth was 13 June 1992. She also introduced herself as Disha ‘Patni’, instead of ‘Patani’. However, in 2016, she declared that she was 20 years old and that her date of birth was 27 July 1995.
