Anang Desai is an Indian theatre artist and film & television actor. He is famous for playing the role of Tulsidas Parekh aka Babuji in the Hindi sitcom ‘Khichdi’ (2002).

Anang Desai was born on Monday, 4 May 1953 (age 46 years; as of 2022) in Ahmedabad, Bombay State, India (now Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India). His zodiac sign is Taurus. Anang started his career as a singer at All India Radio, Ahmedabad for a few years.

After completing his acting course at the National School of Drama, New Delhi, he started working at the institute’s professional repertory. He worked there for more than five years. He then started performing in various theatre plays at the NSD. He has performed in various Hindi and Gujarati theatre plays like Mukhya Mantri, Begum ka Takiya, Tughlaq, Kotwal, and Virasat. He has also worked as a theatre artist with a theatre group in Gujarat.
