Mohit Suri is an Indian film director and producer, who is the son of Mahesh Bhatt’s youngest sister Heena Suri. He is known for directing the popular Hindi film ‘Aashiqui 2′ (2013).

On 29 January 2013, he got married to the Indian actress Udita Goswami. The two met for the first time on the sets of the Hindi film ‘Zeher’ (2003) with which Mohit debuted as a director and Udita made her debut as an actor. In the first meeting, they got attracted to each other. Soon, they became friends, and in 2005, they started dating each other. Later, they took a break from their relationship, but again they get back together. After dating for around eight years, the couple tied the knot at ISKCON Temple, Juhu, Mumbai.

He started his career as an assistant director in the Hindi films like ‘Kasoor’ (2001), ‘Awara Paagal Deewana’ (2002), and ‘Footpath’ (2003).

In 2011, he received criticism for copying the poster of the Hindi film ‘Murder 2’ from the Korean film ‘Anti Christ.’ However, when he was asked about the same, he said that there might be some similarities, and even the Korean film’s poster could be a copy of some other film. Feud with Sidharth Bhardwaj
In 2014, the Indian VJ and actor Sidharth Bhardwaj accused Mohit of deceiving him. Bhardwaj said that Mohit had offered him a role in the Hindi film ‘Ek Villain,’ however, at the last moment Mohit changed the script and changed the cast. On the other side, when Mohit was asked about it, he said that Bhardwaj lied and behaved unprofessionally.
