On 28 January 2008, he got married to Yulia Wekitova, who is the founder of the dance music theatre group Sushila Arts Academy and works as an executive director at Bodhi Chhaaya. The couple got married in Kathmandu, Nepal. They dated for more than ten years before getting married. The couple has a daughter.

Other Relatives

His grandfather, Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala, held the position of Prime Minister of Nepal from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. His great-uncles, Matrika Prasad Koirala and Girija Prasad Koirala also served as prime minister of Nepal.

Relationships/Affairs

Reportedly, he once dated the Indian actress Ayesha Takia. According to the sources, the couple met each other before Ayesha made her debut in Bollywood. However, after dating for almost three years, the couple got separated. In an interview, when Ayesha was asked if she developed feelings for the Indian actor Vatsal Sheth after they kissed in the film Taarzan. She said that she was already dating Siddharth Koirala at that time. Actor

In 2005, he made his acting debut with the Hindi film ‘Fun – Can Be Dangerous Sometimes’ as Aryan. However, the film failed to do well at the box office. He received critical acclaim for the Hindi film ‘Anwar’ (2007) in which he played the titular role.

He has appeared in a few Hindi films like ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’ (2009) and ‘Deshdrohi’ (2009).

In 2014, he made his Nepali film debut with ‘Megha’ in which he played the role of Gaurav.

Other Work

In 2004, he made his Bollywood debut as a co-producer with the film ‘Paisa Vasool.’ He has assisted the Indian director Vidhu Vinod Chopra in various Hindi films. He has also worked as a writer in the Hindi film ‘Terrorism: Bio Attack’ (2005). He is the co-owner of the dance music theatre group Sushila Arts Academy in Kathmandu, Nepal. Koirala has been associated with the NGO named Lokajit for a few years. In 2018, he started working with Destination Entertainment Effects Production. He once started a company named Cormorant Foods Private Limited, an agriculture and allied activities business. Later, the company was struck off.
