Bruna Abdullah was born on Friday, 24 October 1986 (age 33 years; as in 2019) in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio. After completing her schooling, Bruna started to work in a bank in Brazil. When she was 16 years old, she participated in a local beauty contest and emerged as the winner. She was awarded a computer and a cash prize. At that time, computers meant elite. After winning the contest, she was invited by the judges of the contest to join their agency. However, Bruna refused their offer as she was working in a bank, and also wanted to pursue her further studies. Subsequently, she did a TV commercial in Brazil and earned $1,000 from it. Thereafter, she completed her graduation and moved to India as a tourist. While she was exploring the country, she came in contact with a modelling agency, who offered her to feature in a song.

Career
Abdullah started her career with a video with Shekhar Suman in his debut album “Mere Gham Ke Dayare Mein.” Next, she featured in the item song ‘Reham Kare’ from the Bollywood film “Cash.”
In 2010, she played the role of ‘Giselle’ in the romantic comedy “I Hate Luv Storys.” Bruna came into the spotlight after performing an item number ‘Subha Hone Na De’ opposite Akshay Kumar and John Abraham in the Bollywood film “Desi Boyz.”
Subsequently, she appeared in Bollywood films like “Grand Masti,” “Jai Ho,” “Mastizaade,” “Yea Toh Two Much Ho Gayaa” and “Udanchhoo.”
She made her Tamil debut in the year 2012 with the film “Billa II.” She won the Kalakar Award for “Best International Youth Icon” for the film.
