He completed his school education at Sindhu Vidya Mandir Inter College in Allahpur, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. He joined an engineering college which he discontinued after almost a year. He was part of theatre actively for nine years before he completed a diploma course from the National School of Drama (NSD) in Delhi in 2006. He also completed graduation in Ancient History and English Literature through distance learning from the University of Allahabad at his family’s insistence.
