Sanjana Ganesan is an Indian model and anchor. She works for Star Sports and has hosted several cricket, badminton, and football events. She has also hosted the 2019 Cricket World Cup from the Indian side.
Sanjana Ganesan was born on Monday, 6 May 1991 (age 28 years; as in 2019) in Pune, Maharashtra. Her zodiac sign is Taurus. She attended The Bishop’s School, Pune. In 2008, she pursued B.Tech from the Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune. She was a gold medalist in Symbiosis.
After completing her college education, she worked in an IT and digital marketing company, CDK Global. She was a software engineer, and she worked there from 2013 to 2014.

Sanjana belongs to the Kallar caste. Her father, Ganesan Ramaswamy, is a management guru and an author. Her mother, Dr Sushma Ganesan, is an advocate and a fitness coach. Her younger sister, Sheetal Ganesan, is a dentist.
In 2014, when she was in the reality TV show MTV Splitsvilla 7, she had an affair with her co-contestant, Ashwini Koul. Although, the affair did not last for long, and they broke up in 2015.
Sanjana stepped into the modelling world in 2012, when she participated in the 2012 Femina Style Diva. She ended up as a finalist. As she was in college, she did not pursue modelling. When Sanjana graduated, she started working in an IT company, and alongside her job, she pursued modelling. In 2013, she took part in the Femina Miss India Pune competition. She reached the finals, but, did not win.
In 2013, Sanjana participated in the Femina Officially Gorgeous Competition and won. She was also selected as a contestant in the 2014 MTV Splitsvilla Season 7. She was paired up with Ashwini Koul, whom she also had a relationship with during the show. Sanjana was injured on the show; due to which she was forced to quit. Ashwini also quit the show after Sanjana’s departure from the show. They kept dating, but, eventually broke up in 2015.
In 2016, she was appointed by Star Sports as an anchor and sports presenter. In an interview, she stated that-
Although I was comfortable in front of the camera, there were a lot of things which she had to learn for her to become a good sports anchor”
She started hosting a show named “Match-Point” during the Indian Premier League, which used to discuss matches. She was eventually hired by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2016, to host a show for KKR exclusively on a regular basis. The show was called Knight Club, and she used to talk about KKR and its players on the show, there were also exclusive interviews of KKR players and appearances by Shah Rukh Khan.
Sanjana also hosts other sporting events such as the Indian Super League (football) and the Badminton Super League. She often advocates against the use of tobacco, and in 2018, she had participated in an anti-tobacco campaign. Sanjana also hosted the IPL Auction on Star Sports.
In 2019, she hosted the Cricket World Cup from the Indian side, and she was one of the few sports presenters who was often on the field with the other experienced pitch curators. She stated that the World Cup experience was one of a kind, and it was the best thing that could have happened to her. She also used to host a show during the World Cup named- Dil Se India.
