Honey Trap

On 1 April 2023, a 33-year-old businessman, Gurbir Singh, filed a complaint against Jasneet Kaur at Model Town police station in Ludhiana, Punjab for allegedly blackmailing him. In the complaint, he alleged that in November 2022, he received a WhatsApp call from an unknown number demanding Rs 2 crore and threatening to harm him and his family. On 4 April 2023, Punjab Police arrested her for sending semi-nude and nude pictures to her Instagram followers and extorting money by blackmailing them. Her partner in crime, Lucky Sandhu, a youth Congress leader, was also booked by the police. ^[3]The Times of India  Later, the police revealed that Jasneet used to lure men by posting her indecent photographs and videos on her social media handles. She used to engage her followers in indecent conversations and later demand ransom from them by threatening to release their conversation. In 2008, she was arrested in a similar extortion case in Mohali, Punjab. ^[4]India Today
