Saumya Kamble is an Indian dancer who participated in India’s Best Dancer Season 2, a dance reality show, in 2021. In the audition, she danced to the Bollywood song ‘Ek Dil’ from the movie Padmavat (2018). Saumya is a professional classical, hip-hop, and contemporary dancer.

  • In her leisure time, Saumya Kamble likes travelling to different locations and surfing the internet.
  • According to Saumya, her father wants her to become a doctor. In a conversation with a media house, Saumya disclosed that her mother supports her decision of making a career in dancing. In October 2021, on the audition sets of India’s Best dancer Season 2, Saumya’s father bet Rs. 500 with his wife that their daughter would not get selected for the reality show, but he lost the bet. Further, for the next selection round,  one of the judges of the reality show, ‘Terence Lewis, ‘bet with Saumya’s father that she would get selected in the next round of the competition otherwise Terence would pay Rs. 5000 for the deal to which Saumya said that she would definitely fulfil the dream of her father in future. She said,

    I am grateful to have got the opportunity of pursuing my passion for dance on such an esteemed platform. But I also intend to study further and become a doctor, thereby fulfilling my dad’s dream. I firmly believe nothing is impossible and if we set our minds to achieve something, nothing can stop us. The sky’s the limit! But for now, I will put all my dedication and focus on becoming the best dancer India has ever seen.”
