- She froze her eggs when she was 39 years old. In an interview, while talking about freezing her eggs, she said,
I wanted to freeze my eggs at the age of 33! At that time, when I went to my doctor (who finally froze my eggs now)… it is funny but she stopped me from doing so at that time. While she told me it takes a toll on your body, she advised I should do it when I have no hope of conceiving a baby. It’s a personal choice. And today, it is perfectly ok to not have children. - In 2019, Tanishaa faced a racist attack in New York when she went to the US to attend the CRY America charity gala. After the gala, she went to a nightclub with her friends, where a man allegedly made inappropriate remarks. In an interview, she talked about the incident and said,
I don’t understand what triggered it as I was polite, but he turned rude. One of the employees, an African-American, said that we looked as if we were fresh off the boat and couldn’t speak English. That was insulting and blatantly racist. My friends and I were shocked. It’s traumatic to experience this kind of racism in the US; I have never faced it earlier.
