Film

In 2023, Amrin made her acting debut with the Bollywood romantic comedy film ‘Bad Boy,’ opposite actor Namashi Chakraborty, who is the son of the legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty. The veteran comedian Johnny Lever played an important role in this film. The film ‘Bad Boy’ is a Hindi remake of the 2015 Telugu film ‘Cinema Chupista Maava,’ and it is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Amrin’s father Sajid Qureshi. Mithun Chakraborty played a cameo role in the film ‘Bad Boy.’

Before the release of her debut film, she signed another Hindi film, alongside actor Namashi Chakraborty in a lead role, which is a Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s popular 2012 Telugu film ‘Julayi.’ Her father, Sajid Qureshi, is the producer of the film. Reportedly, before the release of the film ‘Bad Boy,’ she began to receive acting offers from Tollywood filmmakers.

• Before getting into acting, she kept changing her career goals; when she was in 8th standard in school, she wanted to be a doctor and in 9th standard, her goal changed to air hostess. Later, she did some research about becoming an interior designer.

• In an interview, she revealed that after completing her college studies, she wanted to do business; however, after seeing her elder brother attending acting classes and her parents’ encouragement, she developed an interest in acting.

• Before getting into acting, she did a full-fledged training acting course at Anupam Kher’s acting school in Mumbai.
