Career

She started her career as a TV assistant director with the Marathi TV serial ‘Pudhcha Paaul’ in 2012. She then debuted as an actor with the Marathi TV serial ‘Durva’ (2013) in which she played the role of Durva Bhupati Patil/Durva Keshav Sane which was aired on Star Pravah.

In 2017, she appeared in the Marathi TV serial ‘Phulpakharu’ aired on Zee Yuva. She hosted the TV singing reality show ‘Singing Star: Season 1′ in 2020.

Hruta appeared in the Marathi stage play ‘Dada Ek Good News Aahey’ (2018) as Namita.

My parents are avid theatre-goers. It was my aai-baba’s wish that I should do theatre, as it will help me analyse where I stand as an actor. It is true that TV serials demand a lot of time, but it all depends on how you balance two things.”
