Sachin Meena was born in 2001 (age 22 years; as of 2023) in Meena Thakuran Colony of Rabupura village of Jewar tehsil of Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. He dropped out of school after studying till 8th standard. He later started working at a local ration shop where he earned around Rs 13000 per month.

Relationships/Affairs
Sachin Meena first met Seema Haider of Pakistan in July 2020 while playing the online game PUBG. Seema was attracted to Sachin’s style of playing and his way of speaking, including his accent, and after around four months, they exchanged contact details and began talking on WhatsApp and Instagram using voice and video calls. Over time, they fell in love with each other, and in January 2021, they confessed their feelings for each other and got into a relationship.

In February 2023, Seema applied for an Indian Visa to meet Sachin, and while Sachin submitted copies of his Aadhaar card to address this, Seema failed to get the document signed by a government officer due to which her application was rejected. Sachin and Seema came to know that Indian citizens did not require a visa to travel to Nepal, hence they chose to meet there in March 2023. Seema left her children in Pakistan, and they met for the first time on 10 March 2023 in Nepal.
Following their meeting, they got married at Pashupatinath Temple. They spent a week together in a hotel in Nepal after which Seema went back to Pakistan, while Sachin returned to India.

After Seema Haider entered India illegally with her children, Sachin Meena received them at the Faleda intersection near Rabupura on 13 May 2023 and took them to a rented room in Ambedkar Colony, which he rented for Rs 2500 per month.

On 29 June 2023, the couple went to a lawyer in Bulandshahr to legally get married; however, the lawyer was surprised when he saw that Seema had a Pakistani passport, so he alerted the police. When the police went to their rented room, they saw that the couple had already left and were trying to run away. FIR & Bail
An FIR (First Information Report) numbered 159/2023 was lodged at Rabupura Police Station. Seema was named in the report for her unauthorized entry into India, while Sachin Meena and his father, Netrapal Singh (also known as Nittar), were named for aiding and providing shelter to an illegal immigrant. Following this, they were taken into custody and held at Luksar Jail in Uttar Pradesh. Netrapal Singh was granted bail on 6 July 2023, and Sachin Meena and Seema were granted bail on 7 July 2023, by Justice Nazim Akbar of the Junior Division of the Jewar Civil Court.

They were released from jail at 8:30 am on July 8, 2023. The court ruled that they must stay at the same residence until a final decision is made. Their lawyer, Hemant Krishna Parashar, informed the media that all three individuals are required to visit Rabupura Police Station every day to sign an undertaking and are not allowed to leave the town without permission from the police.
Reaction of the public
As news of Sachin and Seema‘s romantic relationship spread, the public rallied behind the couple, urging the government to grant her and her four children Indian citizenship. Many Hindu organizations offered their support, visiting their residence and providing both assurance and financial assistance to the couple. Sachin Meena’s parents, Netrapal and Ritu, warmly welcomed their her into their home, praising Seema for her courage in crossing borders to be with Sachin. Many people raised doubts that Seema is a Pakistani spy, and Sachin is helping her and both of them should be investigated.

Facts/Trivia
- In August 2023, Sachin Meena got very viral after one of his neighbours, Mithilesh Bhati, remarked ‘Lappu Sa Sachin’ and Jhingur Sa Ladka’ during an interview. Popular music producer Yashraj Mukhate made a short song on the remarks. Sachin’s advocate, AP Singh, even sent a legal notice to Bhati for her remarks.
- Sachin and Seema drew inspiration from the popular Bollywood film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,’ starring Sunny Deol and even watched this film during their stay in Nepal in March 2023.
