Lavanya Tripathi got married to Varun Tej, an actor, at Borgo San Felice Resort in Tuscany, Italy, on 1 November 2023. The wedding was attended by many actors including Chiranjeevi Sarja, Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun.

Lavanya and Varun first met while working together in the film ‘Mister’ in 2017. According to reports, they became close friends during the filming process and their friendship eventually turned into a romantic relationship. However, they decided to keep their relationship a secret for a long time. It was only during the shooting of their second film ‘Antariksham 9000 KMPH’ that rumours about their relationship started. As time went on, they started attending events and parties together, which further fuelled speculation about their relationship. Tripathi started her career as a model and appeared in various TV commercials like Fair and Lovely, Polo Minti, Binani Cement, Coke, Godrej, and Pond’s.

In 2006, she participated in the beauty pageant Femina Miss Uttarakhand. She was declared as the winner of the pageant.

In 2012, she started her career as an actor with the Telugu film ‘Andala Rakshasi’ in which she played the role of Midhuna.

Raid By Income Tax Department

In 2019, the officials from the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGSTI) raided various business places, including those of Tollywood actress Lavanya Tripathi, to investigate possible tax evasion. It was reported that the actress was accused of not paying the required Goods and Services Tax (GST) for a business deal worth Rs 20 lakh. The officials conducted the search at one of her rented houses located in Banjara Hills. ^[2]The New Indian Express While addressing the media, the GST official said,

At the time of the raids, Lavanya was away from her residence. In the presence of her staff, the officials had verified the GST payments made by the actress on the purchase of several valuables. It is reported that she had evaded tax worth of `20 lakh, but details are yet to be verified.”

• In 2020, during an interview, the Indian YouTuber Sriramoju Sunishith said that he was in a romantic relationship with the Indian actresses Lavanya Tripathi and Tamannaah Bhatia. However, later, he ended the relationship with both of them. Sunishith mentioned that Tripathi was not happy with him, so she decided to end their relationship. He said,
  

  I proposed to Lavanya Tripathi and she said okay. We used to go to restaurants and go to watch movies in her car only because I have a bike. I wanted to marry her.
