Tanisha Santoshi started her career with a part-time internship for two months at Tips Industries Limited, where she worked as an assistant director for the 2013 Bollywood film “Phata Poster Nikhla Hero.” In 2017, she worked as a freelancer in various capacities such as assistant director, script supervisor, and production manager. She did some projects in filmmaking while pursuing graduation at the University of Arts London some of which include managing the production for ‘How To Screen Print’ in 2018, directing the documentary film “True Colours” in 2018, being assistant director for the film “The Audition,” and supervising script for the film “All that Glitters Is Not Gold” in 2019.
She worked as an assistant director for the Hindi film “Bad Boy” (2020).
In 2020, she did a full-time internship as an assistant director at Dharma Productions. In 2023, Tanisha Santoshi made her acting debut with the film “Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh,” directed by her father, Rajkumar Santoshi; she played the role of Sushma in the film.
