Biography/Wiki

Sarfaraz Khan was born on 22 April 1976 (age 47; as of 2023) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Sarfaraz did his Diploma in Hotel Management. He is well-known for his supporting roles in Tere Naam and Wanted, starring Salman Khan as the lead actor. He has also worked as a director for plays like Local Train, Badi Der Ki Meherbaan Aate Aate, and Best of Luck. Sarfaraz has also acted in Hindi and Gujarati plays like Taash Ke Patte, Saubhagyawati, and Raja The To Bhare Kari. Apart from being a theatre artist and an actor, Khan is also a producer. Moreover, he also assisted his father, Kader Khan, during theatre plays.

Sarfaraz is born into an Islamic Family (Sunni Muslim) to late Kader Khan and Hajra Khan. His father was a renowned Bollywood Actor, Comedian, Director, and a Dialogue Writer. His mother produced a film named, Shama in 1981 alongside Kader Khan and is at present a homemaker. He has two brothers, Kudroos Khan (security officer at the Toronto airport) and Shahnawaz Khan (Actor).

Sarfaraz married Shahista Khan. The couple is blessed with one son, Hamzaa Khan and one daughter, Saima.

Career

Sarfaraz made his Bollywood debut as a child artist and played the role of young Kader Khan in 1994 film Shatranj. Later, in 2002, he appeared in a supporting role in the Hindi film, Kya Yahi Pyaar Hain. Sarfaraz was acclaimed for his role as ‘Aslam’ in Tere Naam starring Salman Khan as the lead actor. Subsequently, he played supporting roles in Hindi movies like Kissan, Milenge Milenge, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Dobara, and Ramaiya Vastavaiya.
