Manish Makhija

Manish Makhija is an Indian video jockey and restaurateur. He is known for appearing in the Hindi TV shows ‘The Udham Singh Show’ (1997) and ‘Cash Cab – Meter Chalu Hai’ (2008). He is the ex-husband of the Indian actor and producer Pooja Bhatt.

At a young age, he got married to a girl named Neha Gupta. The couple has a son together. However, the couple got divorced. On 16 August 2003, he got married to the Indian actor and film producer Pooja Bhatt. They had met together on the sets of the Hindi film ‘Paap’ (2003), and after dating for a month, they got married. Our split as some might call it is amicable & we hold each other in the highest esteem for now and forever. The reason I explain Is that we are both parts of the public domain. He has also acted in a few Hindi films like ‘Paap’ (2003), ‘Rog’ (2005), ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana’ (2012), and ‘Mastizaade’ (2016).

In 2005, he worked as an assistant director in the Hindi film ‘Rog.’ In 2012, he worked as a lyricist in the Hindi film ‘Jism 2.’ In 2019, he composed the music for the Hindi film ‘Cabaret.’


While he was working as a VJ, he started a lounge bar ‘The Other Side at Morgem Beach’ in Goa. Later, he started a few other companies named Ab-Markosys Private Limited, Moist Destinations Private Limited, and Greenapp Enterprises Private Limited. He then started Bark Beat, a sports training centre, where he works as a trainer as well.

  • In an interview, the Indian actor Ranvir Shorey, who was the ex-boyfriend of Manish’s ex-wife Pooja Bhatt shared that he was once best friends with Manish. [6]Hindustan Times Ranvir said,

    Manish used to be my best friend right up until after the incident, and then turned around and married Pooja. All kinds of relationships are manipulated and psychological warfare used.”
