Thereafter, she started going to the gym, where someone suggested she do powerlifting. Eventually, she became a bodybuilder. Hailing from a small town in Madhya Pradesh, Chourasia was a victim of Indian society’s regressive mindset where people would frown upon her career as a bikini athlete. Therefore, she kept her profession under wraps and used fake Instagram accounts by the names of “Twinkle Sen” and “Twinkle Kaur” at the beginning. On 28 September 2019, she won first place in the District Bench Press Powerlifting Championship, Jabalpur in the sub-junior 57 kg weight category.

In 2021, she secured 3rd place in the IPA / NPC National championship in the Women Bikini + Wellness category.

In April 2023, she competed in Enhanced NPC Series 2023 Noida (UP) in which she got eliminated after reaching the Top 6.
