Sana Khan was an Indian social worker and politician, associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who made headlines in August 2023 after she was murdered by her husband, Amit Sahu alias Pappu.

In her late 20s, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and later became the State Secretary of the BJP Minority Morcha. She was very active in different social programs including food donations and cleanliness campaigns.

Death
Sana Khan boarded a private bus in Nagpur on 1 August 2023 to settle a business dispute with her husband, Amit Sahu. After arriving in Jabalpur on 2 August 2023, she talked to her mother; however, she went missing later following which her family registered a police case. On 4 August 2023, a team of Nagpur police officials came to Jabalpur to find her as her mobile phone showed her presence at a house in Jabalpur, and they later arrested her husband on 11 August 2023, from the Gora Bazar area, on charges of murder. It was later revealed that Amit used Sana as a sex worker to honeytrap rich men. He used to send her to different men, get into physical relationships with them, and then take photos or videos of them in objectionable positions. Amit later grew suspicious of Sana’s character, and when they were discussing the financial dispute in August 2023, Amit got angry and hit her on the head with a stick due to which she died.
