Kritika Kamra was born on Tuesday, 25 October 1988 (age 35 years; as of 2023) in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio.

She hails from Ashoknagar, Madhya Pradesh. She did her schooling at Anand Primary English Medium School, Sukhpur, Madhya Pradesh and Tara Sadan Hr. Sec. School, Ashoknagar, Madhya Pradesh. She continued her schooling at St. Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi Public School, New Delhi. She then enrolled in the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, to pursue her graduation in fashion communication. Karan Kundrra

In 2009, she met the Indian actor Karan Kundrra while shooting for their debut TV serial ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai.’ Initially, they became friends and soon, fell in love with each other. Their on-screen and off-screen Jodi became immensely popular, and their fans started calling themselves “Karnika fans.” Later, due to some reasons, the duo broke up. During an interview, when Kritika was asked about her split with Karan Kundrra, she replied,

There is no definite reason for my split with Karan. There was no fight. Both of us got very busy with our new shows and this took a toll on our relationship.”

Siddharth Bijpuria

In 2007, she made her television debut with the Hindi TV serial ‘Yahaan Ke Hum Sikander’ in which she played the role of Arshiya. The serial was aired on Z Next.

She came into the limelight with her role as Arohi Sharma in the 2009 Hindi TV serial ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai,’ which aired on Imagine TV.

She has acted in various Hindi TV serials like ‘Pyaar Ka Bandhan’ (2009; Sony), ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2’ (2010; NDTV Imagine), ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’ (2011; Sony), ‘Reporters’ (2015; Sony), and ‘Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta’ (2017).
