Khushboo is unmarried and has no children. In an interview in February 2012, she mentioned that she was supposed to get married in October 2012. She revealed that a show coordinator offered her a role earlier in a television serial, which she accepted. In the promos of the show, she was portrayed as a married woman in conflict with her husband and in-laws. This led to public speculation that she had actually gotten married and was facing issues with her spouse and in-laws. In the interview, Khushboo explained that these rumours caused concern for her fiancé and his family. Theatre

Khushboo initially worked as a theatre actor in Lucknow. According to her, she got her first role in a theatrical production after attending a three-month workshop. She later worked in many theatrical productions including a psychological thriller titled ‘Murder in the Shimla School,’ which was performed at Veda Factory in Mumbai on 18 April 2023.

Film

Khushboo debuted in Bollywood with the film ‘Dabangg’ in 2010. In the film, she played the role of a journalist.

In 2013, she played a supporting lead role in a political action thriller film ‘Zila Ghaziabad,’ which starred Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, and Vivek Oberoi among others. In the same year, she appeared as a nurse in the film ‘Krrish 3’ and as Rosina D’Costa in the film ‘Ankur Arora Murder Case.’

Khushboo Kamal made her television debut with Sahara One’s series ‘Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage’ in 2012. She played the role of Pinky Malhotra in the series. In the same year, she made an episodic appearance as ‘Kavita Deshmukh’ in a crime show titled ‘Savdhaan India – India Fights Back,’ which aired on Life OK (now Star Bharat).
