Karan was born on 5 October. His hometown is South Bombay, India. He worked as an assistant director for Rhea Kapoor‘s movie, “Aisha.” Afterward, he got authorization to assist Karan Johar in his film “Wake Up Sid.” In 2013, he was one of the directors of the series “24” which also featured Anil Kapoor. Besides directing some ads, he has also directed a short film, “The Audition.” In 2018, he declared his debut film as a director starring Sonam Kapoor. This movie will be co-produced by Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. Karan Boolani collaborated with Anil Kapoor and worked as one of the executive producers of the Netflix series “Selection Day.”
