Anand Ahuja was born on Monday, 29 July 1985 (age 39 years; as of 2024) in New Delhi. He grew up in Delhi’s posh Jor Bagh locality and currently lives in Golf Links, a neighbourhood in New Delhi. His grandfather, Harish Ahuja, runs one of India’s largest export house, Shahi Exports, and Anand is the managing director of it. He is the owner of a popular clothing brand called Bhane. He also owns VegNonVeg, India’s first multi-brand sneaker store.

Anand is a highly educated entrepreneur who did his schooling from American Embassy School, New Delhi. He did his Bachelor of Science, Economics, and International Relations in 2007 from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He had pursued his post graduation in MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA, but somehow he couldn’t complete it.
He did his internship with Deutsche Bank and worked as Product Manager Intern at Amazon and as an Assistant Buyer at Macy’s.
On his return to India, he initially worked in the Business Development wing of Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd In 2012, he founded a clothing brand called Bhane.
