From August 2008 to July 2011, she worked as a Solicitor at the law firm DLA Piper in London. In August 2011, she became a partner at the international law firm Schillings. She represented Johnny Depp in his 2020 U.K. libel case when he sued the British tabloid newspaper ‘The Sun’ for calling him a “wife-beater;” Depp lost the libel case in November 2020. She also represented Meghan Markle in a lawsuit against the publishers of the Mail on Sunday in 2021. The Schillings website states that she specializes in defending her client’s reputation against false and defamatory allegations in print, online, and on social media.
