Janina Elkin was born on Monday, December 20, 1982 (age 38 years; as of 2020), in Kyiv, Ukraine. At a very early age, she began her dance training at Kyiv State Dance Academy. Later, she took Ballet lessons at State Ballet Academy in Mannheim, Germany. In 2001, she enrolled herself in Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, New York for a four-year course in acting.
