Julian Kostov was born on August 25, 1989 (age 31 years; as of 2020) in Varna, Bulgaria. His zodiac sign is Virgo. Kostov attended a Spanish school, and then he went to the Netherlands to pursue a degree in International Business from Tilburg University. Julian was inspired by Heath Ledger’s character in the movie ‘The Dark Knight,’ and after learning Heath’s way of acting through his movies, Julian decided to move to London to pursue acting as a career. Julian transferred to the University of Wales Institute Cardiff in London and completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Studies in 2011. Later, he joined the National Youth Theatre in London to attend workshops on acting.

Film

Julian began his acting career with the 2013 action-adventure movie ‘Code Red.’ In 2016, he starred in the movie London Has Fallen. Julian Kostov bagged his first lead role in the British war drama film ‘Another Mother’s Son.’ The film released in 2017, and it received mixed reviews from the critics and audience with an overall average rating for the movie.

In 2017, Julian was roped in for a cameo role in the movie ‘Leatherface.’ Julian has also appeared in many short films like Early Birds (2015), Colour Me Grey (2015), Risk (2018), and Going Country (2019).

In 2014, Julian starred in a Fox television miniseries ’24: Live Another Day.’ Julian has also starred in various episodes of different television series like ‘Flack’ (2019), Wild Bill (2019), Treadstone (2019). Before his acting career, Julian was a professional swimmer for a very long time. He was a part of his school team and represented his country at the national games. Julian Kostov has more than 60 medals in his name as a professional swimmer. He was the National Swimming Champion from 2005 to 2009. In 2008, he was awarded the Master of Sport title in swimming.
