Dilraj Singh Rawat was born on Monday, 8 January 1996 (age 27 years; as of 2023) in a village near Ajmer, Rajasthan. His zodiac sign is Capricorn. He scored 65.17 per cent in the 10th standard. After that, he chose Science and Maths for 11th and 12th standard. He failed his 12th-class exams, he failed in both Mathematics and Chemistry. He again appeared for his 12th class exams in the following year and passed with 60 per cent marks. After schooling, he decided not to pursue a formal education.

After he completed his schooling, Dilraj decided not to pursue any formal college or university education as he didn’t like any of the courses or degrees. According to him, his only motive was to stop asking his parents for money and start earning it himself early on. He started working at any job he could get his hands on including carpeting, welding, selling vegetables, and as a daily wage labourer.

YouTube 

In 2012, Dilraj Singh Rawat created his YouTube channel. According to him, he did not know anything about creating a channel, and he just created it for fun, and he later realized that he could also upload videos on it, and he started posting videos. He was always a curious child, he would pull apart all the gadgets at his home or mix random chemicals at the chemistry lab in his school. In the beginning, he started posting videos on science experiments, life hacks, and travel videos for which he gained much success.

In 2016, he received his first paycheck of Rs. 10, 000 from YouTube following which he decided to become a YouTuber. After rising to fame for his videos based on travel experiences, he broadened his scope to cover more topics, such as science, technology, and do-it-yourself (DIY). In his videos, he shares smart tricks, cool ways to solve everyday issues, and fun science tests. He wants to make science easy to understand and enjoyable for everyone. According to Dilraj, the production cost of his videos is very high. In December 2021, he reached 20 Million subscribers on YouTube.

Later, Dilraj started posting videos of performing stunts with bikes and cars and doing 1000-foot drop tests on various mobile phones. In December 2023, his number of subscribers reached more than 33 million.

In 2018, Dilraj appeared in season 8 of India’s Got Talent as a participant. He was selected to be a part of the show during the auditions.

 

Dilraj Singh has collaborated with many YouTubers like Amit Sharma (Crazy XYZ), Rashed Belhasa (Money Kicks), and Elvish Yadav. By 2023, Dilraj had a team of approx 30 members to help him create content for his YouTube channel.

• In an interview, Dilraj talked about the two major incidents which led him to start scientific exploration, which was at school, he intentionally combined sodium with water in the chemistry lab and saw an explosion occur right before him, and later, at his job, he hurt his hand while experimenting with liquid nitrogen, which led him to realise that science experiments also came with its risks.
