His zodiac sign is Virgo. He went to Amity International School in Gurgaon. Later, he pursued a bachelor’s degree in commerce at Hansraj College in Delhi.

He had an elder brother, who died in a road accident in 2001. In a video that went viral on the internet ahead of the Bigg Boss OTT 2 finale, Elvish can be seen talking about his deceased brother. During a conversation with Pooja Bhatt and Manisha Rani, Elvish expressed that if given access to a time machine, his priority would be to rescue his brother. He said,

Main change karta, 2001 me jaake. Mere brother ki death hui thi, New Year pe. Time machine hota toh main change karta aur unko bolta mat jao. Jinhone naam diya, wahi nahi hai.”

YouTuber

In 2016, he created his YouTube channel, ‘Elvish Yadav,’ where he shares comedy videos. By February 2018, his YouTube channel had reached one million subscribers. His YouTube channel has more than 10 million subscribers. In 2019, he created another YouTube channel titled ‘Elvish Yadav Vlogs.’

 

Television

In 2023, he made his television debut with Jio Cinema’s reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss’ in which he appeared as a wildcard contestant along with actress Aashika Bhatia.

 

In July 2023, he gained significant attention on Twitter, receiving more than one million tweets, when Salman Khan bashed him on Weekend Ka Vaar. The reason for this backlash was his use of offensive language towards the female contestants of the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house. Notably, Elvish’s supporters also joined in, advocating for a ‘boycott’ of Salman Khan. Controversies

G20 Flower Pot Theft

In March 2023, Elvish Yadav became a trending topic on social media when a video of two men stealing flower pots arranged for a G20 meeting went viral. Some people alleged that the vehicle used in the theft belonged to Elvish Yadav; however, Elvish Yadav denied the allegations and conveyed his intention to take legal action against those making such allegations. The allegations arose when social media users discovered that a vehicle with the same number plate was used in one of Elvish Yadav’s events. Elvish Yadav has clarified that Manmohan Yadav, the person arrested for the flower theft, is not a member of his family. [5]The Free Press Journal

Rave Parties and Snake Venom 

Elvish found himself clouded in controversy when an FIR was registered against him and many others by the Uttar Pradesh police on 3 November 2023. According to police officials, five men had been arrested in Noida for allegedly supplying snakes and their venom at rave parties that were purportedly organized by Elvish Yadav. In an interview, police officials disclosed that these parties took place at various farmhouses in Delhi and nearby areas. Officials, moreover, mentioned that those five men claimed Elvish Yadav’s involvement and mentioned that he has used snakes for creating content on YouTube and Instagram. Later, the politician and animal activist Maneka Gandhi also made such claims in an interview. She mentioned that her NGO had been monitoring Elvish Yadav as he had been using snakes in his videos. She went on to claim that she and her team had set a trap with the intention of finding Elvish’s wrongdoing. She further added that he had absconded after UP police registered a case against him. Elvish Yadav, however, later took to social media to address the matter and refuted claims of supplying snakes and their venom and organising rave parties. He further said that he would take responsibility if even a minor connection to the case would be proven.

Violence at a Restaurant

Elvish slapped a man at a restaurant in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on 11 February 2024. He later addressed the matter and said that the man was abusing him, and he had no regrets about slapping him. [9]Hindustan Times

Elvish vs Maxtern 

In March 2024, Elvish sparked a controversy when a video of him went viral in which he was seen beating YouTuber Sagar Thakur aka Maxtern, who had allegedly been poking Elvish on social media for months. On 8 March 2024, an FIR was registered against Elvish and others under IPC sections 147 (riots), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (causing hurt), and 506 (criminal intimidation) at Sector 53 Police Station in Gurugram, Haryana. The incident allegedly occurred when Sagar threatened Elvish and his family. While Sagar claimed that he was alone at the incident, Elvish alleged that Sagar was present with four other individuals. Elvish further alleged that the video was pre-planned by Sagar as he had the camera and mic set up at the location. He added that individuals present with him urged them not to fight, which was captured in the viral video.
