Jaclyn Stapp is a Jordanian American fashion model and philanthropist. She is known for being the second runner-up of the Mrs. World 2021 beauty pageant. Previously, she held the titles of Miss New York USA 2004 and  Mrs. Florida America 2008.

Jaclyn Stapp was born in Jordanian Christian family.[2]Ammonnews Her mother’s name is Hayat Nesheiwat and father’s name was Ben Nesheiwat. Her father died when she was very young so her mother raised her and other four siblings single handedly. Remembering about her father, she told the media,

My father died when I was nine, so my mother raised her five children on her own. She taught us about courage, determination, and never giving up—as well as to be grateful for everything we had.”

She has three sisters and one brother. Her sister Julia Nesheiwat is an American national security adviser, Janette Nesheiwat serves as a doctor, and Christine Nesheiwat works as an elementary school teacher. Her brother’s name is Daniel Nesheiwat.

Jaclyn Stapp is married to Scott Stapp, an American singer and songwriter. Scott is popular as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the rock band ‘Creed.’ The two met during Jaclyn’s reign as Miss New York USA at a Muscular Dystrophy charity gala in New York in January 2005. Jaclyn and Scott got married on 11 February 2006. The couple is blessed with three children, a daughter and two sons. Their daughter is named Milan Stapp and she works as a model and singer, and their sons are Anthony Issa Stapp and Daniel Issam Stapp. Jaclyn Stapp also have a step son, Jagger Michael Stapp, from Scott’s previous marriage.

Career

Beauty Pageants

Jaclyn Stapp, in 1995, started her pageantry journey with participating in the Miss Florida Teen 1995. She contested in the competition but was not able qualify as one of the finalists. Next, she participated in a beauty pageant after seven years. This time she competed for the title of Miss Florida USA 2001, where in she became the third runner-up at the beauty pageant. Not satisfied with the results, Jaclyn Stapp again participated in the Miss Florida USA 2002 and this time, she ended up as the first runner-up of the pageant. Jaclyn Stapp, in 2003, participated in Miss New York USA pageant. She contested with several other contestants from and emerged as the winner of Miss New York USA 2004. Her most memorable experience during her reign as Miss New York USA was when she visited the U.S. troops in Iraq on an invitation from the White House Provisional Coalition Authority. She also got the opportunity to travel to Baghdad for spending some time with the U.S. soldiers and visited an Iraqi orphanage. There, she met with brave female members of Iraq’s Governing Council to discuss human rights. She described her journey as “a humbling and profound experience that I will never forget.” In 2008, Stapp contested to earn the title of Mrs. America 2008. She was amongst the top 3 contestant of the show and was later declared as the first-runner up in the finals held on 31 May 2008. She also won the title of Most Photogenic during the pageantry competition rounds. In 2011, she represented the country of Jordan at Mrs. World where she qualified in the top 5 category. Jaclyn Stapp gabbed the headlines of the newspapers after she was announced to represent Jordan at the Mrs World 2021 beauty pageant. She decided to present the married women of her home country at the world state. While talking about her childhood connection with the country at the Mrs World pageant, she said,

I am both proud and humbled to represent the married women of Jordan at the coming Mrs World pageant. My parents were born and raised in Jordan and I have seen for myself the many changes that have made it possible for a woman to be in the position I am.”

Adding to this, she said,

To carry this uplifting and personal history on to the Mrs World stage, along with so many beautiful and intelligent ladies from around the world, will be a life-changing experience. This journey will also give recognition to the women I represent who have been a positive force for change. I will be realizing their dream.”

The finale of the Mrs World 2021 held on 15 January 2022 in the Las Vega. Before the final announcement of the winner, Mrs Jordan, Jaclyn Stapp and Mrs America, Shaylyn Ford clasped hands as they waited for the winner to be announced, with Stapp gracefully congratulating her rival on learning of her defeat.

Acting

The former Mrs. Florida America has a number of acting credits to her name including episodes of Full House, Second Noah, and Sex and the City. She has also been part numerous films and television shows including Miss USA Fear Factor, a major Disney vacation television campaign, starred in Olive Juice movie with the Back Street Boys, and featured on Florida’s Best Beaches on the Travel Channel.

Author

Jaclyn Stapp made her book writing debut in the year 2010.  She wrote a children’s book titled ‘Wacky Jacky: The True Story of an Unlikely Beauty Queen.’ The book was sold internationally and was released in many different languages. The story in  the book focused on teaching children to take pride in who they are and where they come from, no matter who or what says otherwise. During the launch enent of the book, she discussed about the force  that dragged her to write this book. She said,

“I always wanted to write a children’s book and as bullying became more prominent in our towns and I heard about it from my own kids, I really wanted to share my story to let other kids know they aren’t alone.”

Social Works

Apart from being a beauty pageant titles competitor, Jaclyn Stapp is an active philanthropist. She is the founder of ‘CHARM’ (Children Are Magical), a non profit organization which aims to heighten awareness of children’s issues and enrich the lives of underprivileged youth by providing them the tools for a fulfilling future, established by her as a college student. Jaclyn is also the executive director of ‘The Scott Stapp With Arms Wide Open Foundation,’ a global foundation working on bringing hope to under privileged children and help to families in need.  The ‘With Arms Wide Open Foundation’  was established by husband, Scott Stapp, in October 2000.

Jaclyn Stapp was announced as the national celebrity spokesperson for National Voices of Equality, Education, and Enlightenment (NVEEE), for her social cautiousness, philanthropic effort, and her ongoing involvement in antibullying campaigns on 9 April 2012. On receiving the honour, she expressed her gratitude by saying,

Its an honour and privilege to be selected a the national celebrity spokesperson for NVEEE, an organisation that invisions equality for many youth affected by bulling. It has been a long life mission of mine to standup for children and those affected by discrimination, and i look forward to continue speeding awareness of antibullying via my association with NVEEE.”

Scott Stapp has been actively attending NVEEE’s VIP receptions. She also spends a lot of her time by volunteering at workshops and performing live at events. Stapp is a proud supporter of NVEEE’s anti-bullying efforts as it has affected their family at various times in their lives and continues to support the organization and his wife. In 2008, Jaclyn Stapp was invited as celebrity participant in Spherion Orlando Citrus Bowl Parade.  she was dressed in a citrus-colored gown designed by the luxurious pageant costume designer, La Casa Hermosa, which was auctioned off to benefit The Florida Citrus Sports Foundation.

Jaclyn Stapp has been working as the vice president of SS Touring Inc. for United States since April 2008. She herself enjoys travelling to different places with her family.
