Controversial Remarks on the Indian Government

In February 2023, she represented the United States of Kailasa at the UN convention in Geneva, Switzerland. In the convention, she accused the Indian government, of persecuting her guru Nithyananda for reviving Hindu traditions. She further asked,

What measures could be taken at the national and international level to prevent the persecution of Nithyananda and the 20 million Hindu migrant population in Kailasa.”

She targeted the Indian government in the convention for which she received criticism.

Even questions were raised on the United Nations officials for allowing a diplomat of a fictional nation to attend the meeting. Later, the UN responded to the queries and said that the inputs given by Vijayapriya were not considered. According to the sources, the UN panel said that Nityananda’s country ‘Kailaasa’ had participated as an NGO in the UN meeting and not as a country. [3]Times Now
