He was born in a Hindu family. His father, father, Rajiv Singhal, is an editor & publisher at Fine Wine & Champagne, India. His mother, Ritu Singhal, is a distributor and hotelware at Bernardaud. His elder brother, Suchet Singhal, also studied at UCL.
In 2017, he started a web-development company, ‘US Studio.’ In 2018, he founded an environment friendly project, “Glass2Sand,” which focused on the growing threat of glass waste in Delhi, and he is working with an aim to prevent dumping glass bottles in landfills. In September 2020, he was selected by the United Nations as one of the seventeen ‘2020 Young Leaders for the “Sustainable Development Goals” across the world. As a Young Leader for the SDGs, I will be an active agent of change. I hope to be able to encourage communities to embrace a better civic sense to create sustainable living spaces — like when mountain-high landfills are detonated.”
