Siddharth Shaw was born on 12 February, and he hails from New Delhi. His zodiac sign is Aquarius.
He was an all-rounder at school who actively participated in various extracurricular activities. When he was five, he started participating in plays in the Delhi theatre circuit. However, he would spend hours on the road commuting between his home and school in Delhi which would leave him with no time to pursue any activities. Therefore, his parents decided to enrol him at Mayo College, Ajmer, where he did his schooling. There, he participated in debate competitions at the international level, represented India in a youth golf tournament in South Africa, acted in various school plays, etc. He would also play multiple sports like football, hockey, and cricket. He was the captain of cultural activities, the golf team, and the debate team during his school days. In 2016, he organized the TEDxYouth@MayoCollege.

One day he saw a Facebook post from Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company (MCCC) that the casting director Mukesh Chhabra was hosting a meet at India Habitat Centre in Delhi. There, Shaw appeared for an audition and secured a role in the film Love Aaj Kal 2 (2020).

Career
Siddharth Shaw began his acting journey as a theatre artist. He worked with various renowned theatre groups like Stage Coach, Julia Gabriel, Asmita Theatre Group, and Gurgaon TH.
In 2018, he got his first gig, a comic video for WTF station (now called Alright). Then, he started appearing in advertisements for various brands like Coca-Cola, BMW, Happydent, and Oyo. Apart from that, he was also featured in the print advertisements of various brands like insurance company Kotak Life, Rapido Bike Taxi, and Imagesbazaar.
He made his film debut with the romantic comedy-drama Love Aaj Kal 2 (2020) in which he played the role of Rathore.
In 2020, he made his digital debut with the crime thriller web series Paatal Lok, which streamed on Amazon Prime. Shaw played the role of a school kid in two episodes of the series.
In 2021, he appeared in the short film Peeli Machli (The Yellow Fish) as a B-grade Cinematographer. He played the role of Sameer in two episodes of the Youtube series Not Dating (2021). In 2022, he starred in three episodes of Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach, the third season of the crime thriller legal drama web series Criminal Justice on Hotstar Specials. In the series, he played the role of Rahul, a party attendee. In the same year, he appeared on the TV show Dil Beats With Sukriti & Prakriti Season 4 on MTV Beats.
He appeared in the short film Zaruri Hai (2022), conceptualised, developed and produced by Impulse New Delhi with AHF India Cares. The film aimed to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS, improve access to HIV prevention and treatment, and fight the stigmatisation of people living with HIV. It premiered at Alliance française de Delhi.
In 2023, he appeared in the slice-of-life web series Do Gubbare, which streamed on JioCinema. The show chronicles Rohit’s life as he travels from Indore to Pune and settles in as a tenant at Ajoba’s residence. Ajoba, a nurturing grandfatherly presence who has undergone a similar transition into adulthood, offers valuable guidance to Rohit, ensuring his seamless journey.

- He caught the acting bug at a very young age. When he was three or four, he would come back home from school and spend his afternoon performing scenes from Bollywood films. One of his favourite film scenes was from the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham… (2001) in which Rahul (played by Shah Rukh Khan) would come back from London and his mother (Jaya Bachchan) would approach the gate with a Pooja Thali.
