Manasvi made her debut at the Lakme Fashion Week in 2006, after winning the Elite Model Look India competition. Two years later, she claimed the ‘Miss Tourism International’ title, followed by winning the Femina Miss India World crown in 2010.

She then represented India at the Miss World Contest held in China that same year. During the Miss World finale in 2010, Manasvi was ranked among the top 8 contestants in the Dances of the World category. Since then, she has walked the runway for numerous fashion designers and campaigns.

Acting

Manasvi began her acting career by being a part of the movement-based play ‘LIMBO’ in 2012 and in the same year she acted in a documentary film ‘The World Before Her.’ Later in 2014, she played the role of ‘Marina’ opposite Ajay Devgn in the film ‘Action Jackson’ directed by Prabhu Deva.

In 2022, she played the role of ‘Lara’ in a short film ‘Prisoners of WAR – Subject Zero.’ In 2023, she played the role of ‘Juhi Bhatia’ in the web series ‘The Trial.’

• She started modelling on the advice of Rhea Pillai, former model and ex-wife of tennis player Leander Paes, who met her mother at the Art of Living camp in Chandigarh. Later, she moved to Delhi and ventured into modelling.

• Manasvi dreamt of becoming Miss India since the age of six years when she saw Aishwariya Rai being crowned Miss Universe in 1994. When she started modelling, she had a contract with international modelling agency Elite and later with Fair & Lovely. Miss India participants are required to be non-contracted with any agency, hence she finished her contracts and became Miss India in 2010.

• In an interview, she revealed that she gave up a seat in a leading agriculture course in a reputed college after 12th to pursue a career in modelling.
