Career
Renu Chopra started visiting the sets when she got married to Ravi Chopra. B.R. Chopra encouraged the women of the house to visit the sets and be a part of the team to have a better understanding of everything. Renu Chopra would often visit the seta during shoots and help the crew in any way possible. She even used to select costumes for actors while working with Ravi Chopra. Her journey as a producer started when she worked on Bhoothnath Returns in 2014 with Bhushan Kumar, chairman of T-series. Since then, Renu has worked with her sons and other producers to release movies like Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Ittefaq (2017), Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019), etc.

Facts/Trivia
- Before getting married, Ravi and Renu were together for more than a year. Ravi wanted to work on his own film before getting married as he didn’t want to be known as “B.R. Chopra’s son.”

- The Chopra family was hit by a financial crisis and Renu decided to sell off the B.R. Films library to meet the ends. The deal was finalized for a few crores but the person on the other end didn’t pay completely. Instead, he further sold the library three times the price he was giving to Renu Chopra. Renu Chopra decided to cancel the deal and give back the money.
- Renu would often visit the set to have lunch with Ravi. The food was given by the in-house BR Catering and they were known for cooking homely Punjabi food.
- On 27 September 2020, Renu Chopra was invited to “The Kapil Sharma Show.”
