Career
After her post-graduation, she acted in a few French and English plays. She debuted as an actor in the Hindi TV series, ‘Trishna’ (1984), in which she played the role of ‘Roohi.’
She got immense popularity with the Hindi superhero television show, ‘Shaktimaan,’ in 1997.
She has appeared in various popular TV serials, like ‘Junoon’ (1994), ‘Swabhimaan’ (1995), ‘Karvaan’ (1997), ‘Kulvaddhu’ (2006), and ‘Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’ (2018).
In 1987, she acted in the French film ‘Black,’ in which she played the character of a Brazilian girl. She debuted in Bollywood with the 1984 film, ‘Holi.’ Later, she acted in many Hindi films, including ‘Earth’ (1998), ‘Fashion’ (2008), ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’ (2008), ‘Student of the Year’ (2012), and ‘Ghost Stories’ (2020).
