Rohit Bhardwaj was born on Sunday, 30 January 1983 (age 39 years; as of 2022) in Punjab, India. Onewiki He did his schooling in Punjab, where he was a studious kid, and counted among the good students of the class. He wanted to study abroad after graduation and live a satisfying life. However, he was also inclined toward cinema and acting, so, he secretly used to watch movies. He got married to Poonam Bhardwaj around 2006. Later, he decided to follow his passion and started giving auditions for modelling and acting. Initially, he could not crack any auditions and got a little demoralised. After going through a lot of hardships, he finally got the role of a supporting character named Sukhi in Ranbir Rano (2008-2009), and after his first appearance in Ranbir Rano, he was offered many roles in multiple TV shows. Rohit was married to Poonam Bhardwaj and both were high school lovers. Some sources say that Poonam is a singer. They knew each other since childhood and were married to each other for 16 years. They lived happily and had a daughter together, whose name is Parthivi Bharadwaj, and was born in 2011. He loves his daughter very much and said,

Rohit and Poonam had a long-term affair that started in school and they had been dating each other since high school. They had been in a serious relationship for many years and got married to each other around 2006.
Besides having great acting skills and a successful career, it was not easy for him to enter the unknown world of acting. He took the risk to leave his studies and went for what he loved. When everyone, who wants to work in the showbiz industry starts preparing for it at an early age, he started acting a little late. After his schooling, he completed his graduation and had a little time off, and whatever happened during that period, he considers it destiny’s plan. In an interview on the set of Mahabharat, he said,
My plan of action was to go abroad for higher studies after graduation. I never imagined that one day I would act in a television serial and become a known face.”
After my graduation, I had three months of free time for soul searching. I wanted some kind of change and joined theatre after a friend advised me to take up acting. After his debut in the TV industry, he acted in many TV shows such as ‘Baat Hamari Pakki Hai’, ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’, ‘Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal’, ‘Mahabharat’ and ‘Laal Ishq’.
Mahabharat became so prominent that all the cast went to Indonesia to perform the play in Indonesia. Countless Indonesian fans appeared to watch their performance and attend the fan meeting.
The New Eat Bulaga Indonesia (2014-2015) is an Indonesian television show on which Rohit has worked as a judge and anchor. He has also judged and performed on Bolly Star Vaganza in 2015. In Indonesia, he has done stand-up comedy and also played the character of ‘Mr Bean’. He has performed the characters of almost all the kings of all regions in Indonesia.
He has worked in a few short films such as ‘Waapasi’, ‘Mumbai’ and ‘Mombatti’. In 2020, he has also acted in a mystery and thriller web series ‘Myopia’ as a lead actor.
