Ravi Shankar Alok was born in the year 1986 in Patna, Bihar. For making his career in the film industry he moved to the Mumbai and started living at Vasant- Seven Bungalows Apartment in Versova, Andheri (W), Mumbai along with his elder brother. His family and friends called him by the name ‘Alok’.His family and friends called him by the name ‘Alok’. At the age of just 32, he took his last breath.

Career
He started his career at the age of 18. In 2004, he worked as a screenwriter and an assistant director in Nana Pataker’s starrer movie ‘Ab Tak Chhappan’ and after that, he did not get any work in the movies and as a result, he has gone into the depression. In spite of having a long struggle, he did not succeed in his profession.

Death
On 11 July 2018, his body was found in a pool of blood outside his apartment at Vasant- Seven Bungalows Apartment in Versova, Andheri (W), Mumbai, India at 2 pm. According to the sources, he allegedly suicided by jumping off from the roof of his seven-floor building. The body was first noticed by a guard of an adjacent building and revealed that the terrace of the building is usually locked and nobody knows that how Alok gained access to the area. Rest, the cause of his death now depends on further investigation and autopsy report.

- He was basically from Patna but lived in Mumbai for a long time.
- He used to live with his elder brother, who was not present at the home during the incident, whereas, his parents moved to Patna just a couple of days before his death.
