After a few years of her divorce, while working on a theatre play, she became friends with the Indian actor Anup Soni. At that time, Anup Soni was already married to a corporate employee Ritu, and it was only after their divorce, that Anup and Juhi got married on 14 March 2011 in a private ceremony.
