Acting & Modeling

Diksha Singh started her career in 2015 as a model when she participated in the Femina Miss India 2012 pageant. Diksha was selected for the show, and she was one of the runner-ups of the show. She also won the title of Miss Body Beautiful in Miss India 2015 pageant.

Diksha made her acting debut with the video song ‘Teri Aakhon Mein’ sing by Darshan Raval along with Divya Khosla Kumar and Pearl V Puri. This song gained her a lot of popularity. Diksha has done two more songs with Darshan Raval, Dassh and Rabba Mehar Kari.

Politics

In April 2021, Diksha started her political career by filing a nomination for the Uttar Pradesh panchayat elections on 4 April 2021 from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh.  Earlier, Diksha’s father was going to contest for this seat in the election but later, reservations were revised at the intervention of the  court, and the seat was declared reserved for a female candidate, so her father motivated her to contest the election.

When Diksha was asked about her sudden debut in politics, she said,

You have to get down to clean your own house that is why I have come to my native village to contest the elections. After I win, I will stay here and work for the development of the village. I have always been deeply rooted in my village and I know the problems that plague the women here.”

As the UP panchayat elections results were announced on 3 May 2021, Diksha faced a huge defeat by 5000 votes against the BJP candidate Nagina Singh. Diksha Singh ranked 5th in the Panchayat election with only 2000 votes.
