In 2009, she made her acting debut as Mircha, Sutti Lal’s wife, in Sony SAB’s Hindi sitcom ‘Lapataganj.’

In 2015, she hit the spotlight after she played the role of Ramkali (Ammaji) in And TV’s well-known Hindi sitcom ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!.’ In 2016, she regained recognition after she appeared as Ramvati, Sajan’s mother-in-law, in Sony SAB’s popular Hindi comedy TV series ‘May I Come in Madam?.’

She has worked in many Hindi TV shows including ‘Jijaji Chhat Par Hai’ (2018), ‘Surrogacy’ (2021), and ‘Saavi Ki Savaari’ (2022).

I wouldn’t fit any criteria and got rejected because of it. Then, one of my friends suggested that I put on more weight, at least, I would be categorized in the oversized actors’ list. After that, I gained weight and I started getting work.”
