Taranjit Kaur was born on Friday, 9 March 1990 (age 30 years; as in 2020) in Lucknow. Her zodiac sign is Pisces. She grew up in Chandigarh. Being born into a family of painters and poets, Taranjit developed a huge interest in arts since childhood. She started doing theatre when she was 14 years old. Taranjit got trained for professional theatre under director Neelam Mann Singh Chowdhry. Under Neelam’s guidance Taranjit performed at various national and international theatre festivals. She did her masters in Clinical Psychology from Panjab University.

Career
Taranjit Kaur started her acting career in 2012 with the short film, “Raju” (2011). The film won a Student Oscar Academy Award. Next, she appeared in the critically acclaimed film, “Ankhon Dekhi” (2014). Subsequently, she appeared in films like “Airlift” (2016), “Saanjh” (2017), “Murder on the Road to Kathmandu” (2018) and “Poppy” (2016). Taranjit made her English film debut by playing the role of a coal miner in the British film, “Mouth of Hell” (2014).
Besides acting, she also does poetry on various stage shows.
Taranjit has also featured in a few TV commercials like HP India commercial.
