Dalljiet Kaur met Shaleen Bhanot on the sets of the show “Kulvaddhu” and fell in love with him. The couple tied the knot on 9 December 2009. She has a son, Jaydon. In 2015, Dalljiet filed for a divorce, accusing Shaleen of domestic violence. Her son’s name was earlier, Shaarav. She later changed it to Jaydon to let go of her ex-husband Shaleen Bhanot’s identity.

In February 2024, rumours about their separation started when Dalljiet removed her pictures with Nikhil and his surname from her social media profile. Later, her team stated that she had returned to India for her parents’ surgeries and would not discuss the rumours. Career
Dalljiet Kaur started her acting career in 2004 with the TV serial “Manshaa.” Subsequently, she made special appearances in the TV serials “CID,” “Aahat,” and “Raat Hone Ko Hai.” In 2005, she appeared as ‘Siya’ in the TV serial “Kumkum ā Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan.”Ā Her first role as a protagonist was in the serial “Kulvaddhu” in which she played the role of ‘Niyati.’ In 2008, she participated in the season 4 of the dance reality show “Nach Baliye” along with her then-husband, Shaleen Bhanot, and emerged as the winner of the show.

Dispute With Shalin Bhanot
Dalljiet filed an FIR against Shalin Bhanot in 2015 accusing him of attempting her murder and demanding dowry.
Marital Discord With Nikhil Patel
After Dalljiet accused Nikhil of indulging in an affair even after being married to her in 2024, Nikhil took to Instagram, where he posted his statement saying that he was not “legally married” to Dalljiet as at the time of their marriage, he was not divorced with his first wife; a piece of information which he had provided to her and her family as well. He also stated that Dalljiet decided to leave him and move back to India from Kenya in 2023 after she was unhappy with not getting attention in Kenya which she would get in India. He also revealed that Kaur used to call him late at night and abused him on call. Responding to his allegations, Kaur denied his accusations and claimed that if what he said was true, he would have revealed the information to the cops and not on social media. She stated,
You had three days in India after knowing about the FIR. Which you have just admitted you knew about. If the rubbish you have printed out right now was true, you would have gone to the police station and told your side to them instead of sending it out to your PR. After running away from India while the police kept telling you to visit them again and again. You PR stories are not going to give me justice and a person like you deserves to be punished.”
