Himalay Dassani got married to ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ actress Bhagyashree in 1990. Bhagyashree belonged to a Marathi family and her parents did not supported her decision of getting married outside the community. According to her family, they were too young to take such big decisions after which they decided to take a break some break and Himalay went aboard for his studies, meanwhile, the actress signed her debut film ‘Maine Pyar Kiya.’

Himalay Dassani and Bhagyashree knew each other since childhood, when they used to study in the same class. Bhagyashree was the class monitor, and Himalay, according to Bhagyashree, was the naughtiest kid in the class, and they used to get into a lot of fights. Narrating his first memories with the actress, he said,

She was weak in Maths and i was very good. So she befriended me to learn Maths. I would teach her in the library. I got an opportunity and I utilized it.”

Himalay express his feelings to the Bhagyashree on the last day of their school. Later, both of them got enrolled in the same college. Dasani was very possessive about his lady love and provided her with security all the time Talking about her experience in college, Bhagyashree said,

When I would go to college, traffic would stop when I had to cross the road just because I am his girlfriend. In 1987, Himalay Dassani started working as a operations manager at Hipan Kunstoffe Inc, Los Angeles. After working for almost two years at the company, he joined Cyma Dassani Marketing Private Limited as the marketing & operations director. As a world-class Foreign Trade and Agency in India at the time, CDM represented a number of international producers of plastics, chemicals, and bulk pharmaceuticals. In 1993, Himalay was hired as the director marketing of the Ceeta Springs & Steels Pvt Ltd. While working there, he created a marketing network of steel leaf springs in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala and Maharashtra. With the exponential growth in operations CSS decided to expand its capacity to meet the demands from their growing client base. In 1995, Himalay Dassani acquired the position of the CEO at the Quantum Digital Vision Ltd., where he assisted the firm in successfully raising funds from the capital market to cover a portion of the plant’s development costs. An Export Oriented Unit was established as part of the growth, and the firm successfully began producing and marketing its products in the European market. Later, the business expanded into television and film production, completing a number of popular television series and films. Himalay, in 2009, was designated as the associate director business development at Isolux Corsán, a global brand works on developing energy, water, and environmental, road and railways infrastructure with presence in more than 35 countries on four continents. He spearheaded the company’s growth leading the team to win many infrastructure projects – in Roads , Power Transmission. Due to the determination and hard work of Dassani and his team, the company’s worth rose to over $2 billion. Since 2009, the company increased its business and has concessions to manage four toll roads, with a total of over 700 km and rose an investment of over $2 billion. Production

In November 2002, Himalay began producing teleserials, including Kagaz Ki Kashti, which aired on Sahara One. This serial has a huge budget of Rs 50 million or more, and it also stars her wife in the character of Arti. Tanha Dil Tanha Safar, a commercial partnership with UTV, was also produced by the couple. Later, they moved into film production and are now working on a musical love tale film starring Rishi Kapoor and directed by Raj Sippy.

In one of the episodes of ‘Smart Jodi,’ Himalay revealed a secret story about their first night after married. He narrated the story and revealed that he imagined that after the wedding and celebration, Bhagyashree would be waiting for him in the veil. This, however, did not occur. Controversy

In 2019,Himalay Dassani was arrested for his connection with a gambling racket. According to the Amboli police station officials, Dasani was arrested from his residence and he was produced before a local court. Bhagyashree ttok to Twitter to tweet on her husband’s arrest and denying his role in the gambling ring, she wrote was “persecuted for not succumbing to extortion.”
