On 24 March 2023, the Bharatiya Janata Party appointed her as co-convener of the legal cell of the Delhi BJP. On making her entry into active politics, Bansuri said,

It is just that I have been formally given an opportunity to serve the party more actively in the capacity as a legal department co-convener of the Delhi BJP.” [1]NDTV

She contested the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from the New Delhi constituency and won by a margin of 78,370 votes against AAP’s Somnath Bharti.
