Aparna Krishnan was born in 1990 (age 29 years; as in 2019) in Kochi, Kerala. She did her schooling from Naval Public School, Kochi and Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kochi. She later moved to Canada and joined Pearson College UWC and completed a diploma in International Baccalaureate. She received a scholarship from Pearson College UWC. Later, she joined ‘London School of Economics and Political Science,’ England. She completed her graduation in economics from Dartmouth College, USA.

She was born into a South-Indian family. Her father K R Krishnan is a retired Indian Navy officer. Her mother, Savithri Krishnan is a retired SBI employee. Aparna has an elder sister, Prasanna Krishnan, who is married to Kartik Hosanagar, a technology professor at the Wharton School in the US.

Aparna met Rohan through a common friend. After dating for almost three years, the couple got married on 2 December 2019. Rohan was earlier married to Lakshmi Venu (daughter of TVS Motors Chairman). Aparna and Rohan got married in a traditional South-Indian wedding. The wedding was held at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru; attended by Infosys co-founders Nandan Nilekani, Kris Gopalakrishnan, SD Shibulal, and K Dinesh. Some other well-known guests at the wedding were Vallabh Bhanshali, Ashank Desai, Manjul Bhargava, and Prakash Padukone. The wedding was graced by popular Carnatic vocalist, Bombay Jayashree, through her magical performance.

Career
While studying in college, she worked as a summer analyst at Goldman Sachs and Roc Capital Management. In 2012, after completing her graduation, she joined McKinsey & Company in Bangalore as a business analyst. She joined Sequoia Capital as an investment analyst in 2014. Later, she worked in Craftsvilla, Mumbai, as an assistant vice-president for almost one year. Then, she joined Soroco India Private Limited Bengaluru, as an engagement manager. The company, Soroco India Private Limited, was founded in 2004 by N. R. Narayana Murthy.
