Anjum Sharma is married to Nilima Sharma who is the sister of the Bollywood actor, Varun Sharma.
In 2010, Anjum Sharma made his television debut with the show Rishta.com which premiered on Sony Entertainment channel. Thereafter, he appeared in another television series Daanav Hunters (2014).
In 2008, Anjum Sharma made his film debut with the oscar-winning movie Slumdog Millionaire in which he played the role of a call centre operator.
Thereafter, he appeared in various movies, such as Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010), David (2013), Sona Spa (2013). In 2016, he appeared in the movie Wazir, featuring the Bollywood celebrities, like Farhan Akhtar, Amitabh Bachchan, Aditi Rao Hydari etc.
In 2018, Anjum Sharma made his digital debut with the action crime thriller show ‘Mirzapur’ in which he played a brief role of Sharad Shukla. Later, in 2019, he appeared in an episode of Made in Heaven, a series in which two wedding planners in Delhi run an agency named Made in Heaven. In 2020, Anjum Sharma came into the spotlight when his character ‘Sharad Shukla’ became one of the protagonists of Mirzapur 2.
